Chipworks' Capabilities: Inside technology.

Chipworks' engineers are seasoned experts in all aspects of semiconductor and electronic component/device reverse engineering. We have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, specialized software and custom techniques that allow us to go "inside technology" to uncover what really makes it tick.

• Circuit Analysis: Advanced laboratory and analytical capabilities allow us to reveal circuit layouts at each lithographic layer, and/or conduct full circuit extraction using Chipworks' proprietary software tools and techniques.
• Transistor Characterization: An in-house SEM-based probe station allows us to produce full DC transistor characterization, down at the 65 nm node and beyond, to complement a physical analysis of a semiconductor device.
• Process Analysis: Engineering experience plus advanced analytical instrumentation and sample preparation techniques allows us to fully reverse engineer the processes used to fabricate semiconductor devices.
